Me and Keys in SL

So this isn't exactly what I had planned on writing about but it's what is in my mind right now:
I am not very good with keys. both in RL and in SL.
I've offten lost my car and house keys, (not so much anymore I know keep a spare set of both my house and car key in a little matchbox in my purse). In Sl it's a little harder to lose your keys, they aren't something that you can just drop or leave somewhere they're just a variable in a script.
about 95% of the time I only use one type of cuff in SL, the Real Restraint brand sold by Marine Kelley(who also has a blog about her restraints and scripting adventures in SL somewhere here on blogspot as well.) partially because i really enjoy the look of them, partially because I enjoy the scripting and features in them, mostly because along with the use of a special viewer for the SL client (Restrained Life Viewer, or RL viewer) they became "real restraints" meaning if i lock them i can't detach the attachments until they are unlocked.
Needless to say if you're careless with your keys this can be a real problem.
But then again that's part of the thrill, oftentimes I'll go around with my keys left sitting on the restraints instead of safely held on my hand.
Now I'm not stupid, I don't go everywhere like that, it's more like a calculated gamble. There are alot of places I'll frequent where I know most of the people there, and these places i'll leave the keys on for someone to occasionally snag and torment me with. If I'm going out shopping or someplace with alot of people I'm not likely to know, then I'll hold onto my own keys for safekeeping.

Even times when I do have a safe hold on my keys it dosen't take much to get them to me. If I see someone I know try to get my keys off the cuffs when they aren't available I'll offten just hand the keys over no questions asked(well maybe a few questions to be a smartass) , which can offten lead to just as much trouble for me as leaving them on for anyone to grab.

This leads me to my point, for the last week I've been stuck in my cuffs, atempting to strugle out on my own from all sections of my cuffs (collar, wrists, gag and ankles). The friend who was holding onto my keys for me and locking everything put timers on some stuff but most of it I had to strugle out of.
It was a frustrating week, unfortunately I couldn't get myself to strugle out of the wrist restraints, and ended up beggin for a timer to be set so I would be free eventually even if I couldn't strugle out, in short I was bored and my list of to do items was growing.
I'm completely free now, thankfully. That is until someone else asks for my keys, I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.
Not that I'm complaining, and If I am complaining....well that's what gags are for.
